  • Phase 1
    • In-home interviews (Week of July 21st, 2025)
    • Location: In-home in New York City
    • We would like to conduct in-home interviews, each lasting 1.5 hours. All interviews will take place in Manhattan, within easy reach of each other.
    • Incentive: $250
  • Phase 2
    • Video tasks (July 2025)
    • Women will be asked to film and share two short videos via WhatsApp (We will provide full instructions for these videos)
      • One video about their personal view of beauty
      • One video about their hair and hair dye routines
    • Incentive: $30
  • Phase 3
    • Focus groups (September 2025)
    • Location: Face to Face in New York City
    • Duration: 3 hours
    • We will re-invite some women who complete the video task to join a 3 hour in-person focus group in New York City
    • Incentive: $300
